A MESSAGE FROM JACK AND LINDA: WE MISS YOU
(Tuesday
Aug. 4) We are now at the halfway point of this unforgettable
summer and our little museum is still basically closed except
for visits by appointment for tours of downstairs &
our Gift Shop. Please note we have a limit of 4 people at
a time.
We are following all of the Covid 19 guidelines. Masks are
mandatory and visitors must use hand sanitizer upon entry.
We cannot say right now what our situation may be later
on in the fall. Provincial restrictions are relaxing, but
nothing will ever be the same at our museum. We can no longer
dress our young would-be Annes in costumes for family photographs.
Close involvement with all of our guests is no longer possible
with the need for safe distancing. Handshakes or hugs no
longer happen.
We are already re-inventing ourselves. Our gift shop went
world-wide at the beginning of May through our museum's
Facebook page and we thank all of you who responded from
almost every corner of the globe. Other changes will be
coming.
If you are planning to visit our museum, our best advice
is to call or e-mail us. We may be able to suggest alternatives
to fit your plans. However, if you or any members of your
family have been outside the province recently or are experiencing
a cold or any Covid 19 symptoms, please delay your visit
for another year.
On a personal note, the two of us are doing fine. Thanks
to our age brackets and Linda's lung issues, we have been
in self-isolation since early March, relying upon Linda's
son to do our shopping, banking and postal pick-ups.
So that is where we are right now. We miss you. Do we ever!
Stay healthy.
Admission
$5.99 a person / $19.99 a family (limit of 4).
Due
to Covid 19 guidelines some of the following display items
may not be available for viewing. Also, please ignore the
given times. Call us in advance of any visit to get up-to-date
information and to book your visit.
